Biography: Son of Duncan Bain; born Dingwall, 5 March 1894. Science, 1918. Private, 6th Seaforth Highlanders (T.F.), 18 April 1909. Served - Home, 2 years 4 months; France, November 1915-September 1916, February -August 1917. Final rank, Sergeant. Military Medal, May 1917.
