Knight, John Burton

Biography: Son of A. Knight, Hampton Wick, Middlesex ; born Hampton Wick, 1921 ; educated at Hampton Grammar School. In 1940 he entered the Royal Air Force and attended a Cadets' course at the University. He trained as a Navigator in Canada and was then attached to Bomber Command. On 28 December 1943 he lost his life off Northern Ireland while taking part in special anti-submarine tactics.
