Biography: L.-es.-L., D.éS. University Assistant in French. Military Service, 1905. Mobilized as Private, 372nd Infantry Regiment, French Army, 1 August 1914. Promoted "Adjudant-Chef."; commissioned. Served-France, Serbia, Salonika, Constantinople (French Liaison Officer, British H.Q.), 4 August 1914-1919. Final rank, Lieutenant, Staff Interpreter.
