Fyfe, Ian Ross

Biography: Son of Alexander Ross, municipal engineer, and Irene D'Arcy Fyfe, Singapore; born Singapore, 1922 ; educated at Aberdeen Grammar School and Mill Hill. He entered London University to take an engineering course, but on the outbreak of war transferred to Aberdeen. He joined the Royal Air Force in 1940, and his death occurred in October 1941 while he was on service in this country.
