Biography: Son of Thomas Anderson; born Aberdeen, 19 November 1882. M.A. (III Math.), 1907. U Company, Gordon Highlanders, 1902-07; Private, 3/4th Gordon Highlanders, November 1915; commissioned, Royal Garrison Artillery, December 1917. Served - Home, 1915-18; France, April 1918-February 1919. Final rank, 2nd Lieutenant.
