Biography: Son of John Anderson; born Edinburgh, 3 February 1887. M.B., 1916. Commissioned, R.A.M.C. (T.), 4/1st Highland Field Ambulance, 4 June 1916. Served-France, July 1916-August 1917; Scottish Command, 1917-18; Salonika, Army of Black Sea (Turkey), August 1918-January 1920. Final rank, Captain.
