Biography: Son of Alex. V. Anderson; born Bombay, 14 May 1897. Arts, 1914-1915. G.C., Royal Horse Artillery, Woolwich, 6 months; 2nd Lieutenant, Royal Engineers, October 1915. Served - Home, 1915-1916; France, Belgium, Germany, July 1916-August 1919. Final rank, Lieutenant.
