Biography: Son of Robert Noel and Nellie May Fisher, Elibank Road, Eltham ; born Stockwell, 2 January 1922 ; educated at Woolwich County School. He entered the Territorial Army in 1939 and served for a time in Anti-Aircraft Defence Units, after which he attended the R.A. Cadets' course at the University. He was then sent to the Middle East where he served until his death from typhoid fever on 23 June 1943.
