Biography: Son of James Anderson; born Old Deer, 31 March 1885. M.A., 1905; M.B. (Hons.), 1909; McRobert Fellow; M.D. (Hons.), 1914; M.R.C.P. (London), 1916. Commissioned, R.A.M.C, 20 June 1915. Served - Home, 1915-16; Salonika, August 1916-December 1918. Final rank, Major. Mentioned in dispatches, 1918.
