Farquhar, Alexander Walter Henderson

Biography: Son of A. Farquhar, Woodend, Fordyce ; born Fordyce, 1917 ; educated at Fordyce Academy. He graduated M.A. with Honours in Classics, and was at the Training Centre when war broke out. He joined the Army at once. After training he was sent to the Middle East, and died there in September 1942 of wounds received in action.
