Biography: Son of James Adamson; born St. Cyrus, 26 November 1861. M.B., 1884. Surgeon, Army Medical Staff, 30 January 1886. Served-Mesopotamia, India, 1914-19. Final rank, Colonel. C.B., 1916. Mentioned in despatches, 1916.
