Biography: Son of John Donaldson, Aberdeen ; born Aberdeen, 26 November 1905 ; educated at Aberdeen Grammar School. He graduated M.B., Ch.B. in 1931 and went out to Malacca. Joining the Straits Settlements Volunteer Force he took part in the defence of Malaya and met his death in action at Singapore on 15 February 1942.
