Cruickshank, John Milne Rigg

Biography: Son of John and Elizabeth Rigg Cruickshank, 14 Balmoral Place, Aberdeen; born Aberdeen, 6 November 1917; educated at Aberdeen Grammar School. He was at the University taking an engineering course when war broke out. He joined the Royal Air Force in 1940, and after gaining his "Wings", was posted to an operational unit. In July 1941 he was reported missing from a raid over Berlin while serving with Bomber Command. He is buried in the British Cemetery in Berlin.
