Cruickshank, John

Biography: Son of Robert Cruickshank and Rachel Cruickshank (nee Matheson), Little Moss-side, Deskford, Banffshire ; born Deskford, 1921 ; educated at Fordyce Academy. In 1941 he graduated B.Sc. (Agr.) Immediately after graduation he volunteered for the Royal Air Force and was sent to Canada for training. On gaining his "Wings", he took part in flying operations and lost his life in June 1944.
