Cruickshank, George Rennie

Regiment: Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve

Biography: Son of James Sellar Cruickshank, Longmorn, Elgin; born Inverness, September 1918 ; educated at Inverness Royal Academy. From 1937 till 1940 he was a student in Agriculture at the University and a voluntary worker at the Rowett Institute. He entered the Fleet Air Arm and became a fighter pilot. After a short spell of duty he was killed on active service in May 1941.

Burial Details: Buried at Haslar Royal Naval Cemetery, G. 9. 15
