Cromar, Cuthbert Alexander

Biography: Son of Alexander Cromar, Dental Surgeon, Aberdeen ; born Aberdeen, 1906 ; educated at Loretto. He attended Edinburgh University for a time and then graduated M.B., Ch.B. at Aberdeen. After acting as an assistant in Staffordshire and elsewhere he practised in Aberdeen till the outbreak of war. He was commissioned in the Royal Army Medical Corps with the rank of Captain, and after general service was killed in action at sea in September 1942.
