Biography: Son of John Mennie; born Methlick, 25 March 1865. M.A., 1886. Commissioned, Royal Army Chaplains' Department, 5 December 1914. Home service, 1914-16. Relinquished commission. Final rank, Acting Chaplain to the Forces, with "Honorary Rank" for services rendered.
