Biography: Son of George Martin; born Perth, 26 November 1894. U.D.A., 1913. Commissioned, Royal Engineers, Field Company, 1914; transferred Royal Flying Corps, later R.A.F. Served-Home, 3 years 4 months; France, 1 year. Final rank, Acting Squadron-Adjutant.
