Biography: Son of Donald Fergus Clark and Lilian Eccles Clark, Tonbridge, Kent ; born Tonbridge, 9 February 1923 ; educated at Judd School, Tonbridge. He joined the Royal Air Force in 1941 and attended a Cadets' course at the University. After being engaged in the bombing of key positions in France, he was killed on 23 April 1944 during rocket practice in preparation for the invasion of the continent.
