Biography: Son of James B. Manson; born Oldmeldrum, 1 March 1887. U.D.A., 1906. 2nd. Lieutenant, 5th Gordon Highlanders, 22 October 1914. Served-Home, 1914-15 J France, May 1915-November 1916. Wounded ; Hospital, 1916-18; Home, 1918-19. Discharged unfit. Final rank, Captain.
