Biography: Son of John and Cicilia Helen Cameron, of High Street, Portsoy; born Buckie, 1922 ; educated at Fordyce Academy. For two sessions he was a student in Arts at the University. He entered the Royal Air Force in July 1942, and after training was attached to Bomber Command. On the night of 23 September 1944 his Lancaster, sent to bomb Neuss in Germany, failed to return and he is presumed to have lost his life on that date.
