Biography: Born Tongue, 3 May 1889. M.A., 1909; M.B., 1913. Lieutenant, R.A,M.C, 1 March 1915; attached 7th North Staffordshire Regiment. Served-Home, 3 months; Gallipoli, Mesopotamia, Palestine, Egypt, 1915-19. Final rank, Captain.
