Biography: Son of John MacLeod; born Stornoway, 22 March 1898. Medicine, 1915-16, 1918-. A.U.O.T.C. Pioneer, Special Brigade, Royal Engineers, 23 September 1916. Served-Home, 1915-16; France, November 1916-July 1917. Wounded; discharged, April 1918. Final rank, Pioneer.
