Biography: Son of Malcolm MacLeod; born Barvas, 23 December 1888. M.A., 1910. Private, 4th Gordon Highlanders (T.F.), 2 Oct 1914. Served-Home, 1914-15 ; France, Belgium, February-August 1915. Wounded; discharged, September 1916. Final rank, Lance Corporal.
