Biography: Son of David McLeod; born Kilmuir, 25 Sept 1887. M.A., 1908. 2nd Lieutenant 11th Gordon Highlanders, January 1915 ; transferred R.A.F. Served-Home, 1915 ; France, September 1915-May 1917; twice wounded; Home, 1917-18. Final rank, Acting Captain.
