Biography: Son of William MacLennan; born Urquhart, Ross-shire, 29 September 1885. B.Sc. (Agr.), 1912. Private, R.A.M.C. (T.F), 1909-12. Rejoined. Commissioned, R.A.M.C (T.F.), 2nd London Sanitary Company, December 1914. Served-France, Flanders, December 1914-September 1919. Final rank, Captain. Military Cross, January 1918.
