Biography: Son of Ernest George Bingham, Major, Indian Army and Annie Adeline Bingham, of Beckenham, Kent; born Wellington, South India, 1922 ; educated at St. Dunstan's College, Catford. He joined the Army in 1941 and attended the R.A. Cadets' course at the University. He then volunteered for service in the Far East, and was killed by a mine in Burma on 21 January 1945.
