Biography: Son of John MacKenzie; born Kinloss, 4 August 1872. B.Sc., 1892; M.B., 1896. Commissioned, R.A.M.C., 1897. Mobilized, August 1914. Served-France, August 1914-March 1915; Gallipoli, August-October 1915; Macedonia, October 1915-May 1919. Final rank, Acting Colonel. Distinguished Service Order; Two mentions in despatches, 1916, 1917.
