Biography: Son of John MacKenzie; born Kiltarlity, 17 June 1879. Science, 1908-10. Cameron Highlanders (Voluntary),1896-1900; Lovat's Scouts, 1900-12. War work-Executive Officer, Board of Agriculture, Western Islands, Skye, 3½ years.
