Biography: Son of Murdo MacKenzie; born Stornoway, 4 April 1892. M.A., 1915. Ross-shire Mountain Artillery. (T.F.), 1910-14. Re-enlisted, November 1915. Served with Army Service Corps, Northumberland Fusiliers, Royal Sherwood Foresters Home, France, 3 years Final rank, Sergeant.
