Biography: Son of Finlay M. MacKenzie; born Inverness, 4 November 1892. M.B., 1914. A.U.O.T.C Lieutenant, R.A.M.C (T.F.), 22 August 1914; attached to 1/1st Highland. Mounted Brigade, Field Ambulance, 229th Field. Ambulance, 1st Scottish General Hospital. Served-Home, 1914-15, 1918-19; Gallipoli, Egypt, Palestine, France, September 1915-April 1918. Final rank, Captain. Mentioned in despatches, April 1918.
