Biography: Son of Peter MacKenzie; born Glenlivet, 6 December 1894. Science 1911-14. Private, 6th Gordon Highlanders, 1912. Mobilized, August 1914. Commissioned, September 1914; attached 9th, 16th, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, 11 Royal Scots Fusiliers Served-Home, 1914-15, 1915-18; France, April-June 1915. Final rank, Lieutenant.
