Biography: Son of Duncan MacKay; born Lochcarron, 13 December 1896. Science 1920. Private, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, 12 Sept 1914; transferred to Machine Gun Corps, Trench Mortar Battery. Served-Home, 1914-15; France, September-November 1915; Salonika, November 1915-January 1919. Final rank, Private.
