Biography: Son of George McIntyre.; born Aberdeen, 26 May 1895. Science, 1913 - 1914, Arts, 1920-. Pioneer, 51st Division Signalling Company, 10 September 1914; attached 64th Division Signalling Company; commissioned, Fleet Sub-Lieutenant Royal Naval Air Service, 29 October 1917; transferred. Lieutenant, Royal Air Force Served-Home, 1915-17, 1918; France, December 1917-March 1918 ; in H.M.S. " Argus " with Grand Fleet in North Sea, 1918-19. Final rank, Lieutenant.
