Biography: Son of Alexander MacDonald; born Glasgow, 15th October 1895. Medicine, 1914-15, 1919-. Inverness-shire Royal Horse Artillery (Temporary), 1912. A.U.O.T.C., 1914. Commissioned, Royal Garrison Artillery (S.R.O.), 13 October 1915. Served-France, 1916-19. Final rank, Lieutenant.
