Biography: Son of Hugh MacDonald; born Glen Urquhart, 1 June 1885. M.A.,1907. Commissioned, Chaplain to the Forces, Royal Army Chaplains' Department, 64th Highland Division, 29 January 1917. Served - Home, 1917; France (attached to12th Royal Scots Fusiliers), 1918-19. Final rank, Chaplain, 4th Class.
