Keane, Edward Dawson

Regiment: 38th Motor Ambulance Company, Royal Army Medical Corps, attached to the Serbian Army in Salonika

Biography: Son of Edward J. Keane, Bombay Commissariat ; born Bombay, 6 April 1879 ; graduated M.B., 1901. After graduation he held appointments in Chalmers' Hospital, and Banff Dispensary, and later practised in London. On 22 March 1917, Keane received a commission in the R.A.M.C., being M.O. to the 38th Motor Ambulance Convoy attached to the Serbian Army. He landed in Salonika in June 1917 and served there until his death from pneumonia on 31 October, 1918.

Burial Details: Buried at Skoplje (Uskub) British Cemetery, Section 2, Grave HI.
