Biography: Son of Edward Lumsden; born Midmar, 20 December 1874. M.B. (Hons.), 1897; M.D. (com.), 1901. War work-Founder and Hon. Organizer, County Institution for War Neuroses, 1917-19 ; Ministry of Pensions. Commissioned, Royal Army Medical Corps, 8 October 1918. Medical Officer, Massage and Electrical Departments, Special Surgical Military Hospital, Edmonton. Final rank, Lieutenant. Received thanks from Admiralty, 1919.
