Biography: Son of John Longmore; born Deskford, 5 March 1894. University Diploma in Agriculture, 1915. Private, Army Veterinary Corps, 15 January 1916. Served with 6th Dorsets. Home, 1916-18; France, June 1918-January 1919. Final rank, Corporal.
