Biography: Son of William Lockhart; born Hamilton, 7 January 1894. M.B., 1918. A.U.O.T.C. Surgeon-Probationer, Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve, 7 February 1916; commissioned, 23 August 1918. Served-Home Base, 1916, 1918-19; Scapa Flow, September 1916-September 1917; Aegean, February-October 1919. Final rank, Surgeon-Lieutenant.
