Biography: Son of Peter Leys ; born Aboyne, 6 August 1895. M.A., 1919. Private, 3/4th Gordon Highlanders, 20 April 1915. Served with 1/4th Gordon Highlanders. Home, 1915 ; Flanders, September 1915. Prisoner of War, Hooge, 25 September 1915-25 May 1916, exchanged and repatriated.
