Biography: Son of Alexander Ledingham; born Aberdeen, 15 March 1897. Medicine, 1915-16. A.U.O.T.C. War work-Motor Driver, Red Cross Society, Aberdeen, 1914-15; 2nd Lieutenant, 1st Highland Division Signal Company, Royal Engineers (Territorial Force), 20 November 1915 ; attached to 20th Division Signal Company; 591st (Forth) Fortress Company, Royal Engineers. Served-Home; 1915-17; France and Belgium, April-November 1917 ; wounded; Home, 1918-19. Final rank, Lieutenant.
