Biography: Son of William Lawie; born Kincardine O'Neil, 22 January 1895. Medicine, 1914-15, 1918-. Enlisted, Special Brigade., Royal Engineers, 1 August 1915 ; commissioned, 26 June 1917 ; attached to Tank Corps. Served- France, 18 months; England, 16 months. Final rank, 2nd Lieutenant.
