Biography: Son of James Dunbar; born Nigg, Mearns, 2 June 1873. Science, 1899. Commissioned, 7th Gordon Highlanders, 1898. Mobilized, 3rd August 1914. Served-Home, 1914-15 ; France, May-June 1915 ; discharged on account of wounds, 1916. Final rank, Captain.
