Biography: Son of Walter Duff; born Wick, 10 October 1898. Arts, 1916-17. Private, Territorial Reserve Battalion, 9 April 1917 ; served with Machine Gun Corps; Royal Engineers (Meteorological Section). Served-Home, 1917-18; France, 1918-19; Germany, March-October 1919. Final rank, Corporal.
