Biography: Son of Alexander Don; born Strathdon, Aberdeenshire, 13 February 1863. M.A., 1884; M.B., (Hon. Dist.), 1894. Commissioned, R.A.M.C. (Territorial), December 1912. Mobilized, August 1914. Attached, 1st Scottish General Hospital; 1st Highland Casualty Clearing Station. Served-Home, France, Salonika, August. 1914-June 1919. Final rank, Major. Mentioned in despatches, October 1915.
