Biography: Son of George D.; born Aberdeen, 16 May 1883. M.A., 1904. Corporal , Royal Engineers (Gas Company), August 1915. Served with 26th, 31st, Royal Fusiliers, 9th East Surrey Regiment; France, 2 years 8 months; Home, 10 months. Final rank, Lance Corporal. Died at sea, 30 August 1920.
