Biography: Son of John Davidson; born Ellon, 20 October 1894. Arts, 1913-14. Private, U Company., 4th Gordon Highlanders, 1913 ; commissioned, 1st Gordon Highlanders, 26 June 1918. Served-France, February 1915-July 1916, August 1918-April 1919. Wounded, July 1916. Final rank, 2nd Lieutenant.
