Biography: Son of Alexander Davidson; born Aberdeen, 20 July 1885. M.A., 1908. Private, 11th Gordon Highlanders, November 1915 ; commissioned, 5th Gordon Highlanders, September 1917. Served with 42nd T.R. Battallion ; 15th Highland Light Infantry. Served-Home, 1915-16, 1917-18; B.E.F., December 1916-May 1917, April-September 1918. Final rank, Lieutenant.
