Biography: Son of James M. Danson; born Aberdeen, 1 March 1885. M.B., 1908. U Company, 4th Gordon Highlanders; Surgeon, R.N., 1910. Mobilized, 1914. Served in-H.M.S. "Warrior", " Veronica", " Hannibal"; Mediterranean, Scapa Flow, Irish Sea and Atlantic, Alexandria, Chatham R.N. Barracks, 1914-18. Final rank, Surgeon-Lieutenant-Commander.
